bots will be reworked
hey! long time!
after working on gmtk22, i've been working on a lot of other professional/personal things, but let's get back on track here
so, i've been thinking about the "mix and match" mechanic for the bots, and it's now seeming tooooo complicated to understand at a first glance
i'm going to head back in the original direction of each bot having a "function" only, instead of "function with a resource", and you can change the type of resource it collects
also, bots won't be a two part anymore, that adds unnecessary complexity
i'm thinking a skill tree can be used here to upgrade bots, transporters, etc
so this is the new direction
also, i learned recently that godot 3.5 has a new algorithm for pathfinding, and i think it can be useful here so more bots can find their path in the game
i'll look into that soon as well
